Monthly Meeting: 26 Jul 2012 Visit to Stonelane Orchard - Market Garden and CSA

We had a stimulating evening with Kim Shukla and Richard Whitehead.  We were impressed with their array of quality vegetables. Although Stonelane is not certified organic, Kim and Richard use chemical products sparingly. Various chemical herbicides are available that effectively control weeds, nevertheless Richard and Kim choose not to use them because of potential negative side effects.
